Community Guidelines

Last updated July 2, 2026

SoloTrips works because travelers trust each other. These guidelines are the standard every one of us — including us — is held to. They apply everywhere on SoloTrips: profiles, trips, posts, and chat.

Be real

Use your own identity, your real photos, and post trips you actually intend to take. Impersonation, fake profiles and phantom trips break the one thing that makes SoloTrips work.

Be kind

No harassment, hate speech, discrimination or bullying — full stop. Disagreement is fine; disrespect isn’t. Treat every traveler like someone you might share a long flight with, because you might.

Respect privacy

Never share another traveler’s personal information — name, contact details, itinerary, photos — without their consent. What’s shared with you in chat stays between you.

Keep it safe

No sexual content, no soliciting, no scams, no promoting anything illegal. Don’t pressure anyone to move off-platform, meet up, or share more than they want to.

No spam

SoloTrips is for travelers, not marketers. No commercial solicitation, promotional content, or repetitive posting.

Report what you see

Every profile, post and chat has report and block built in. Reports are reviewed by our safety team and reporters stay anonymous. Violations can lead to content removal, suspension, or a permanent ban — severe cases (threats, exploitation, fraud) skip the warnings.

SoloTrips

The social network for solo travelers. Travel solo, never alone.
